VERY RARE Stop Me Game from 1939 — Braden Toy and Game, Co.
$26.50
The rarest of rare games, and virtually impossible to find on the internet, Stop Me is a board game played with marbles on a wooden board. It was made in 1939 by Braden Toy and Game Company, out of Los Angeles. The box lists A.C. Braden as the copyright holder of the game.
Mr. Braden ran a successful food manufacturing company in the 1920s called AC Braden Quality Foods (see picture). Later in life, he decided to try his luck at making games. Some of his other games from that era include Rollaround, Dancing Dodo, Bango, Baffel, and Jack Pot.
This 83-year-old game is complete and in good condition, though the box is in poor condition, with masking tape over the sides of the box as pictured. This is rumored to be one of the few remaining Stop Me games left in America.
The item will ship with extra bubble wrap in a sturdy box to protect the original box during shipping.
