Large Vintage Genuine Kutani Green Jar Made In Japan

Vintage Green and Gold Ceramic Japanese Jar from the early 1970’s. The front depicts a floral scene with a grand peacock perched amongst the flowers. The floral pattern continues around the sides of the jar. It is a beautiful large jar with many shades of green, some milky white (which is in a relief), and of course, the beautiful gold detailing. It has its original “TRADE MARK MADE IN JAPAN GENUINE KUTANI” gold foil sticker on bottom. An inscription tells where the jar was made. It measures approx 14.5″ tall x 8” diameter at its widest. An amazing piece of Japanese artwork.
