RARE Antique Victorian Gutta-Percha Mourning Beaded Necklace

Beautiful 28 inch gutta-percha mourning necklace. This has been tested with the smell/rub test and concluded to be gutta percha. This is VERY old and these are VERY rare and hard to come by. These were often worn as mourning jewelry for those grieving the death of a loved one. This is spectacular and features beautifully patterned/carved beads. Some wear on the clasp as this is a very old piece.
